Welcome to our new Tithe Your Time Wiki created in response to the Inauguration of President Barack Hussein Obama as our 44th President of the United States and a recognition of how we must all work together to solve our nations challenges.

We chose the term Tithe, not for its religious connotation, but for the notion of committing a portion (tenth) of our resources. We must also admit to our love of alliteration!

A Tenth of What?? .. you ask.

A Tenth of what we honestly have to give !! ... we answer.

We talk about Time because it is one of those precious resources over which most of us have some real control.

Tithe Your Time is a call to action, because we have reached a new fork in our nations history. We the people, the generations alive today, must commit ourselves and join together to make a new beginning work.

Our Main Focus will be on Volunteering, on helping those around us, and on a deeper commitment to service.

Our Mission will be to make a difference.
